Dear Valued ONE Customer,
The evolving security situation in the Middle East continues to pose significant challenges, affecting logistics operations and customer supply chains. Recent developments in the region including the effective closure of the Strait of Hormuz have had a substantial impact on fuel availability and distribution worldwide. Many refineries are also operating at reduced capacity, limiting export volumes and causing substantial disruptions in global fuel supply chains.
To safeguard cargo integrity and maintain the stability of our network, Ocean Network Express (ONE) will implement an Inland Fuel Charge (IFL / IFD) for Carrier Haulage transport in Thailand.
Details of the calculation method and effective period are provided below:
Applicable Charge effective May 8th, 2026:
| BKK | LKR | ||||||
| Bound | Charge | Code | Currency | Trade | 20' | 40' | Unit |
| Export | Export Fuel Charge(L) | IFL | THB | All Trades | 360 | 720 | 400 |
| Import | Inland Fuel Charge(D) | IFD | THB | All Trades | 360 | 720 | 400 |
Effective Date:

| Import | Inland Fuel Charge(D) | IFD | THB | All Trades | 360 | 720 | 600 |
Effective Date:
Non-FMC regulated trades May 1st, 2026
FMC regulated trades*, Canada May 1st, 2026

Remark:
1. Surcharge is based on fuel costs and is subject to fortnightly reviews and adjustments.
2. Applicable to all Inbound/Outbound containers through Laem Chabang (THLCH) terminals via Bangkok Private Wharfs (THBKK), and Lat Krabang (THLKR).
3. Applicable to all modes of transportation.
4. Subject to any required regulatory approvals and notice periods where applicable, and will remain in effect until further notice.
By implementing IFL and IFD, we are best placed to maintain network stability and ensure continuous service despite the heightened fuel market volatility.
We understand the impact this situation may have on your business and remain ready to support your transportation needs.
